Arrive Sapporo (札幌) at 09:30.

Things to do: Amusement park, Sapporo sight-seeing?

Duties: Book hotel

Pick up rental car, drive to Wakkanai (稚内) by coastal road.

Things to do: ?

Duties: Book car, book hotel

Drive south, by central mountain road, stop somewhere in the middle.

Things to do: Central Zoo?

Duties: Pick place to stay, book hotel.

Drive further south, cross tunnel to Aomori (青森). Also return car.

Things to do: Stop for tunnel museum? Aomori things to do?

Duties: Book hotel.

Travel south, maybe Shinkansen. Stop somewhere in the middle? Maybe Sendai (仙台) ?

Travel to Tokyo (東京) by Shinkansen.
