The media players do not care about the mime content types sent in the HTTP header, but in some situations it may be useful to be able to specify it. Perhaps if you want to use llink with a browser.

The 2.3.3 version of llink now build playlists when Browsers are detected, which will launch your mediaplayer of choice, for example, VLC.

Encryption is a good idea, except if you are using localhost, and nobody else has root on your server.
